Hanging with the Headstones
a few shots of my buddy Taylor and I meeting all the boys in the Headstones. Pretty rad.
The Headstones
The Headstones are an awesome Canadian Band that I’ve listened to for years. They split up about 8 years ago – but did a 4 show reunion tour back in February. I flew out to Toronto with my buddy Taylor and caught 2 shows. Well they did another quick tour over Christmas this year. I didn’t think I was going to be able to make it, and then when I could, we couldn’t find tickets – long story short, Hugh Dillon (the lead singer) ended up getting us on the guest list. So I flew up to Calgary for 18 hours, caught the show, met the band and flew back to SLC. It was off the hook. Thanks to Hugh for making it happen – a total class act, and an amazing performer putting on a ridiculous rock show.
We could not have been any closer unless we were up on stage jamming with the band
Canyonlands
Day 2 of the photo tour for Ed.
Dec 26th – Delicate Arch
Ellen and her folks decided to head to Moab to check out Arches National Park and Canyonlands. They had a blast.
Dec 25th – present for Rumple
On Christmas evening we had our friends Alex and Magali over for a few drinks, and lots of presents for the pups. I wish I had video of Rumple opening his present – it was unbelievable.
Christmas Day Hike
We had a nice mellow Christmas Day – while the Reisch’s headed to church, I ran a few laps on groomers at Brighton – then we headed out for a nice mellow walk near our house.
Reisch Christmas
This year Ellen’s mom and dad came to SLC to celebrate Christmas. On Christmas Eve Day we headed to Park City to hang out, then came home, had a fancy fondue Christmas dinner and opened some awesome presents. And of course, Rumple received lots.
Olympus with Rumple
Rumple and I decided to charge to the summit of Olympus. It was a beauty day.
more hiking
As I’m perpetually injured and can’t climb – all i can do is hike. So that’s what I’ve been doing all fall…I brought my good camera this time to try to get some shots of the pups.
