Late in the day on January 1st I called Alex and Magali to see if they were interested in trying the S. Ridge of Superior, an easy scramble in the summer, but who knows what in the winter.  We started WAY late, leaving the car at 3:30pm, post-holed for about 90minutes (which would have taken 25 in the summer) – and then were forced to turn around due to a big nasty wind-loaded slope that looked like it could cause us big big problems if it ripped.  All-in-all still a fun day in the hills.

Well there hasn’t been any new snow for a while, but we decided to go check out an early season spot where we could take the pups touring with us.  Let’s just say the dogs had a great day out.

November 13th, 2011 | Comments Off on Dr. Magali Lequient has moved

Our good friend, and Rumple’s vet, Dr. Magali Lequient, has moved to a new clinic.  In an effort to let all of our friends and her clients know, I’m posting here to spread the word. So if you’re furry friends need some attention, head to White Pine Veterinary Clinic and ask to see Dr. Lequient.

Mag, or Dr. L. as she is known (because people have a hard time with her last name) is a top notch vet who is thorough, compassionate, and treats every patient with care as if her own.  She goes above and beyond the call of duty as has been proven time and time again working with Rumple.  When Mag isn’t helping keep our pets healthy, she’s out crushing all the boys in the mountains.
