I take a TON of photos - because it's fun. I love shooting friends, the boys, climbing, scenery, etc - and have slowly been building a quiver of better gear which allows me to learn more about photography.

I have over 20,000 images on my computer - and that's just from the last 5 years. I wouldn't say the following are the best by any means, but I've narrowed it down to some of my favorites in a few categories.

CLIMBING
Ellen and I climb a LOT. It's kind of "our thing". And seeing as we're always going to these great places to climb I am always shooting tons to document our adventures.

PEOPLE
I have a lot of great friends and a VERY understanding wife - they're used to me always pointing and shooting.

LANDSCAPE
Climbing takes you to some amazing places. I'm not a huge fan of landscape photography - I'd most often rather have a friend in the photo - that way the picture means more to me, but once in a while get a pure landscape shot of something that ends up looking reasonable.

LIFESTYLE
When spend a lot of time hanging out in the mountains, the desert, etc - mostly related to climbing - so there is ample opportunity to photograph us and our friends just chillin.

DOGS & OTHER ANIMALS
I used to love taking pictures of the the boys, Ellis & Yukon. I have over 1100 photos of just them and every single one is important and special to me - it was tough trying to narrow it down to a few of my favorites.

WEDDINGS
I've never actually been a photographer for a wedding and have absolutely no interest in doing so. I do, however, enjoy being at a wedding and getting candid shots of the bride and groom, family and friends, etc.
